About ETMP
East Tennessee Meeting Professionals (ETMP) is the premier association for meeting professionals in East Tennessee. Established in July 2002 and based in Knoxville, Tennessee, ETMP has grown to become the largest network of its kind in the region.
Our Objectives
About ETMP – To guarantee the optimum fit for every event, East Tennessee Meeting Professionals concentrates on finding and assessing appropriate meeting spaces. In order to build solid bonds and a deeper understanding, we work to enhance planners’ and venues’ expertise and communication.
We establish a network of beneficial relationships by continuing liaison operations with hotels, meeting and conference centers, and other expert planners. In addition, we guarantee the highest levels of excellence in the sector by offering planners and suppliers thorough direction and support on every stage of organizing, carrying out, and assessing meetings.
Who are our members?
Our membership consists of meeting and conference planners from local educational institutions, companies, government organizations, and associations. The other half of our group is comprised of area hoteliers and meeting venues capable of accommodating groups ranging from 10 to 1,000 attendees.
ETMP meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month
ETMP meeting time: 11:15 am – 1:00 pm. Our Board meets from 10:15 am -11:15 am
